FIRST YEAR APPLICANTS

Candidates for admission are considered on the basis of academic qualities, personal talents and interests. The following are subjects and courses are recommended for a minimum preparation:

  1. English: 4 years
  2. Social Studies: 3 years
  3. Mathematics: 3 years
  4. Natural Sciences: 3 years
  5. Academic Electives: Applicants should have a strong college preparatory foundation. Suggested electives would include, but should not be limited to, two years of another language and a course in computer science.

Applicants are evaluated by the types of courses selected and the nature of the high school. The Admission Committee is interested in the activities in which the applicant has participated during high school. Consideration is given for talent or involvement in sports, musical groups and other organizations. Students interested in merit scholarships are urged to apply early in their senior year.Freshman applicants should submit:

  1. Completed Application for Admission requires an official high school transcript including ACT or SAT scores.
  2. $25.00 application fee

ESSAY REQUIRED(750 words or less)

Studying and living in Belgium is a unique experience and different from attending a university in North America. Please outline what makes you feel that you have the necessary skills and character to succeed studying and playing in the Belgium academy.  Include in your response your background and career goals.

Please keep in mind that while RRMFC is an academy that gives opportunity to students to seek professional playing contracts it is also very much concerned with the academic progress and success of its players while at the academy - the mission of the academy is to provide a positive student experience that will give you a life changing experience – your academic experience is as much a part of the experience as is the playing.
